The initial meetings with Dawn were good, but a little disappointing because of technology issues. Her internet connection was poor, and lead to a sub-optimal meeting experience. Due to issues that occurred she had one of her employees take over the project. This ended up being a greatly improved situation that the students really appreciated.

It was a very exciting and engaging experience. It give my team and I the opportunity to gain Canadian experiential learning. We were able to apply our years of HR experience to develop an effective recruitment process and loyalty program which will achieve the High volume staffing optimization our client desires.

The client was unable to connect virtually. Not once did the students meet with her via video. Also, the client was not forth coming with the information she promised to provide to the students to conduct the analytics she wanted. Made it very difficult for the students to meet their timelines. Also, with the client in a different time zone, the client kept cancelling or rescheduling meetings.

Website Audit, UX and Conversion Optimization Study

We recently launched an updated website and are looking for a group of students to perform an audit, analyse the usability and create meaningful and actionable strategies around how to increase conversions. Our website and landing pages already ranking well on Google and generating a lot of traffic, but our problem lies in converting the leads that come to that page into real action. This project includes, but is not limited to: Creating strategies for Increasing conversions on our existing high-traffic landing pages Recommendations on Improving the overall user experience Analyzing and disseminating heat maps (we have been running Hot Jar since our launch in March) Developing sample user tests Overall recommendations on how the website could be improved. The final project deliverable should be a report including research, analysis, and recommendations, and perhaps a presentation. It should assist our marketing team in successfully increasing our conversation rate with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions.

Social Media Strategy for YouTube

Pop! Events Group already has some great video content to utilize. We are seeking a robust strategy to help increase our exposure on YouTube. We are looking for a group of students to do the following. Complete a Social Media and Digital Marketing audit to determine the best possible ways to integrate YouTube into our existing Social Media strategy Create an extensive "ideas" list of suggested video content based on company brand standards and existing YouTube trends Produce outlines for a minimum of 3 videos based on ideas chosen from list of suggestions Create a strategy to promote videos and optimize our company YouTube Channel for increased views and followers Exhibit and create strategy around how to use YouTube to increase brand visibility and actual sales This project will be both fun and productive for the right group of students!!

High Volume Staffing Optimization

STAFFING HIGH CALIBER INDIVIDUALS USING A SCREENING METHOD AND LOYALTY REFERRAL PROGRAM Our Event staff are an integral part of our organization, and their recruitment is critical to our success. Finding individuals who can invest their time in our mission can be costly, so we want to find ways to optimize this process so we can find great candidates faster, and spend more time serving our clients. We have a strong base of loyal and capable event staff but our business is extremely 4th quarter heavy so our staffing needs quadruple at this time. We would like the students to help us with one or more of the following: Develop a screening method to allow us to hire the best staff members we can find for the various activities we have Create a loyalty program for existing staff members to refer new potential staff for our roster. Document and evaluate the current state of our staff and staffing procedures, from the time the resource need is identified to the time the position is filled.  Create visualizations and diagrams to help us identify strengths and pain points in our recruitment process.

Marketing Conversion Optimization

Our landing pages are already generating a lot of traffic, but our problem lies in converting the leads that come to that page into real action. To become a proactive marketing team, we need assistance fine tuning our outreach process. We would like to equip our marketing and teams with a plan that guides them in increasing our conversation rate, researching new prospects, identifying key contacts, and reaching out with compelling messages that actually get converted into action. We would like you to create a simple step-by-step strategy for prospecting in our target market.  This project may include, but is not limited to: Increasing our conversations on our existing high-traffic landing pages (main focus) Identifying new potential accounts that align with our current customer base. Compiling relevant market information.  Building a customizable outreach script. The final project deliverable should be a report including research, analysis, and recommendations, and perhaps a presentation. It should assist our marketing team in successfully increasing our conversation rate, prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions.
