Gryd - Partner Identification

PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: To further expand Gryd’s Partner network, Gryd is seeking to find new partner prospects across all major cities across Canada. The project will be a mix of basic research, data entry, and interview skills and require minimum supervision. The intern will research freelance workers in select cities across Canada and conduct basic interviews with them to identify whether they are a good fit for the organization. Gryd - Parking Inventory and Pricing Research Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: Objective: To research public and competitor parking pricing in selected cities. Part 1: The intern(s) will conduct inventory research of parking providers. Results will be collected in region specific maps so that density and availability can be visualized. Applicable pricing rates for monthly, daily and hourly pricing are available on the competitor websites and will also be collected and stored in the map. Colour coding should be used to distinguish the various parking managers. Google My Maps will be used to collect the data. Examples of other cities will be shown to the student. Part 2: Based on the maps created in part one and additional research into high traffic areas on the internet, the intern(s) will create a document outlining the high traffic areas in each city. High demand areas will be determined by density of already available parking, areas with low parking availability but high demand and areas that have event centres, businesses and high traffic.
