Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology is a diploma and degree granting college located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Over the past 55 years, Centennial College has transformed itself from a local community college to a worldly institution, with a presence in countries such as China, India, South Korea and Brazil.
Our focus has always been on preparing graduates to enter the workforce while teaching our students to be leaders. We’ve worked hard to build lasting partnerships with local communities while preparing our graduates to succeed globally - work we are confident has led to our #1 ranking in the Greater Toronto Area for graduate satisfaction.
Locally, we continue to offer industry-recognized full- and part-time programs at five Toronto campuses. Whether in our classrooms, our labs or the community, Centennial students experience the real world before they even graduate. As a leader in internationalization, we’ve done extensive work teaching international students. At the same time, we are enabling more Canadian learners to have an international adventure, be it completing a semester in Spain, an internship in South Africa or a Global Citizenship learning experience in the Amazon Basin.

Winter 2026 Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion Placements
WELL-756
The Workplace and Wellness Health Promotion program, facilitated by Centennial College's School of Community and Health Studies, is one of the first graduate certificate programs of its kind in Canada. As such, it enjoys a respected national and international reputation and is recognized by leading employers. The Workplace and Wellness Health Promotion program will prepare students to promote the total well-being of individuals and groups within corporate and community contexts. If you have a health and wellness related project, bring on one or more students to be your interns for 14-weeks to help. Students are available for 462 hours of placement over 14 weeks, beginning January 2025. The placements are on an unpaid basis. This experience is designed for learners with a blend of creative and technical skills, focusing on web design and development using the WIX platform. By applying their classroom knowledge, learners will develop websites that integrate video, audio, photography, and motion graphics, ensuring seamless navigation and user experience. This project-oriented approach allows learners to refine their skills in web design, user interface, and user experience, while providing tangible benefits to participating companies.
Motion Graphics Designer
This experience is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application in the field of motion graphics design. Learners will apply their skills in visual artistry to create dynamic brand portfolios, focusing on animated logo treatments, font styling, and typography for both print and web. By engaging with real-world projects, learners will enhance their understanding of color schemes, animations, transitions, and legibility, delivering professional-grade branding solutions that meet industry standards.
Event Coordination and Project Management
This experience is designed for learners specializing in Event Planning and Management, equipping them with practical skills to support industry professionals in executing successful events. Learners will apply their organizational, communication, and time management skills to real-world projects, enhancing their ability to coordinate logistics, manage communications, and ensure smooth event operations. By engaging in this practicum, learners will contribute to projects that require meticulous planning and execution, providing tangible benefits to participating companies.
