Founded in 1967, St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology currently boasts 13,000+ fulltime students and employs more than 1,100 people across three campuses. 120+ advanced diplomas, four-year bachelor’s degrees and graduate certificates can be earned at the College, with a focus in Health Sciences, Engineering Technology, Skilled Trades, Business, IT, Media, Art and Design, Social Justice Services and Community Studies with a graduate employment rate of 87 percent.
In the past decade, the College has made waves throughout the academic community for its investment in multiple state-of-the-art facilities, including the Toldo Centre for Health Sciences, the Zekelman Centre for Business & IT, the Don France Student Commons as well as “Nexus”, a 15,000-sq-ft. esports arena & broadcasting facility.

The students will present and submit their work at several stages of development. The end result will be a working static website that your business or organization can use. Student will: Present an overview of the proposed project Design and develop questions that will help to ascertain the true operating needs of your business or organization Apply the User-Centered Development Cycle to web development Create an aesthetically pleasing design for the user interfaces that serves to enhance the value of the systems functionality

Sports and Events Marketing

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from St. Clair College to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program/course will learn about the marketing process as it relates to sports and events. Marketing is the key component leading to success in any event or sport. Marketers design activities to generate and facilitate exchanges between organizations and consumers and must know how to plan, price, promote, research and understand consumer behavior. Necessary functions in this field are the marketing of goods, services, people, places and ideas.
Data Analytics Capstone Project (Winter 2023)

This capstone course is aimed at enriching student success by combining the knowledge skills and tools students have learned throughout their program. The skills are used to complete a project on a real-world challenge presented by an instructor or an industry partner. Students will use appropriate analytics techniques and tools and best practices to present results to stakeholders. Students are familiar with Excel, Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau and variety of other tools from prior coursework.
