We are interested in expanding B2B our wholesale business in the US, CA, UK, Europe and Australia. It will be important to gather information on these markets regarding our largest competitors, potential retailers, and distributors.

  • Researching current competition, their current offers, and who are the retailers or distributors they are selling to.
  • Researching potential retailers, their requirements from wholesalers (example: margin requirements) and determining their buyers' contact information.
  • Researching potential distributors and agents, their requirements for wholesalers and determining their contact information.
  • Researching relevant tradeshows and costs to exhibit.
  • Analyzing and suggesting best path forward per market.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities (this is basically a retelling of the steps above):

  • Researched competition, potential retailers and distributors.
  • Created a report on primary and secondary findings of new market analysis.
  • Presented all findings to (whoever is running the project).
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • The customer segments our brand primarily caters to.
  • Information about our products/services.
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.

Jennifer was impassioned to create her own line of natural skincare and clothing products to treat sensitive skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and more that align with her own holistic and environmental values.
