Details

The food security curriculum creation will result in an education plan aimed at five key cohorts; youth, high school students, young adult (including college/university students), young families / parents, seniors.

The goal is to think simple but impactful. We are aiming to educate and create champions for the organization.

The end result will be a plan consisting of the following:

  • an activity and any materials needed (for each cohort)
  • costs associated
  • personnel needed
  • time commitment for each session
  • potential impact: number of people served, impact to community, impact to organization.
Deliverables

The completed project will see an education plan created for The Human Factor Community Organization's Sovereign Foods program to teach the concept of food sovereignty to the following groups:

  • youth
  • high school students
  • young adult (including college/university students)
  • young families / parents
  • seniors
