Learner goals and capabilities

Skilled, motivated students from Red River College's ACE Project Space workshop are ready to support your business.

The ACE Project Space is a collaborative, interactive workspace where students, entrepreneurs, non-profits, and corporations come together to turn bold ideas into real-world solutions. With guidance from experienced staff and faculty, students from the Business Information Technology, Data Science and Machine Learning, and Information Security programs work directly with industry partners to build prototypes, develop products, and design services ready for market.

Participating employers gain access to curious, capable, and career-ready students who are eager to apply their skills to meaningful challenges. Projects are divided into three distinct phases, each requiring 60 hours of student work. Upon completing each phase, students are paid a $1,400 stipend—fully covered through Riipen and the Government of Canada’s Innovative Work-Integrated Learning (I-WIL) Initiatives program. There is no cost to you.

This is an exclusive, invite-only opportunity. If you were not invited to participate, your project match request will be declined.

Project Examples

Requirements

We’re seeking real-world projects that challenge students to apply their technical and business skills in meaningful ways. Ideal projects involve building or enhancing digital products, streamlining business processes, analyzing data for insights, or addressing information security needs. Whether it’s developing a prototype, refining a user experience, creating a data model, or solving a workflow problem—projects should have clear goals, measurable outcomes, and opportunities for students to contribute to your organization’s growth.
